Frequently Asked Questions

A: Sandbox.asia provides your child with a foundation in digital technologies that we believe will be commonplace in the working world of the future. In addition to the concepts of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths), programme participants are exposed to soft skills such as teamwork and collaboration, project planning and management, structured problem-solving, communications and creative thinking.

We also aim to be competition-focused, and will organise internal events, as well as participate in larger, external competitions and events.

Our Intermediate and Advanced programmes are currently split into four separate streams covering Robotics, Application Development, Game Development and Streaming. Participants can opt to sign up for more than one Intermediate or Advanced programme at a time, depending on scheduled availability.

We do ask that you contact us ahead of time to arrange for your child to join our trial session so that he/she may be evaluated before signing up.

A: Ideally, we take in new students only at the start of each new programme, but will consider new students if they have missed just the initial week or two. Please contact us directly to discuss further.

A: We understand that people change their minds. We have always encouraged students to stick with our programmes for at least the first three to four weeks, to be sure they have given it a fair chance. That said, if things aren’t working out after the first two weeks, you can always just ask for your money back.
